Bill C-27, First Nations Financial Transparency Act, was concurred in at report stage following a recorded division of 151 yeas and 116 nays.
Amendments to Bill C-27, First Nations Financial Transparency Act, put forward by NDP Aboriginal critic Jean Crowder (Nanaimo-Cowichan, B.C.) that the bill be amended by deleting Clauses 1, 2 and 3 were negatived following a recorded division of 116 yeas and 151 nays.
Bill S-8, Safe Drinking Water for First Nations Act, continued to be debated at second reading.
