The final report of the Commission of Inquiry into the Decline of the Sockeye Salmon in the Fraser River entitled, “The Uncertain Future of the Fraser River Sockeye”, was tabled.

Bill C-28, Financial Literacy Leader Act, was concurred in at report stage and debated at third reading.

NDP foreign affairs critic Paul Dewar (Ottawa Centre, Ont.) made a request for an emergency debate regarding the Canada-China Investment Agreement. Speaker of the House of Commons Andrew Scheer (Regina-Qu'Appelle, Sask.) denied the request.
