The Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities presented its 14th report, Bill C-318, An Act to amend the Employment Insurance Act and the Canada Labour Code (adoptive and intended parents).

The Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights presented its 19th report, Bill C-40, An Act to amend the Criminal Code, to make consequential amendments to other Acts and to repeal a regulation (miscarriage of justice reviews).

The Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities presented its 16th report, Bill C-33, An Act to amend the Customs Act, the Railway Safety Act, the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, 1992, the Marine Transportation Security Act, the Canada Transportation Act and the Canada Marine Act and to make a consequential amendment to another Act, with amendments.

Bill C-352, An Act to amend the Competition Act and the Competition Tribunal Act (Lowering Prices for Canadians Act), was read a second time following a recorded division of 178 yeas and 149 nays and was referred to the Standing Committee on Industry and Technology.
