Conservative MP Dean Allison (Niagara West, Ont.) introduced a private member’s bill entitled An Act to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act, the Canada Labour Code and the Employment Insurance Act. Bill C-285 was introduced and read a first time.

The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage presented its second report, Bill C-11, An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act and to make related and consequential amendments to other Acts.

The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans presented its fifth report, Traceability and Labelling of Fish and Seafood Products.
