Conservative MP Bob Soroya (Markham-Unionville, Ont.) introduced a private member’s bill entitled An Act to amend the Criminal Code (possession of unlawfully imported firearms). Bill C-238 was introduced and read a first time.

Liberal MP Sonia Sidhu (Brampton South, Ont.) introduced a private member’s bill entitled An Act to establish a national framework for diabetes. Bill C-237 was introduced and read a first time.

The Standing Committee on International Trade presented its First Report entiled Bill C-4, An Act to implement the Agreement between Canada, the United States of America and the United Mexican States. 

The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs presented its Fourth Report entitled “Review of Standing Orders, Procedure and Practice of the House”.
