NDP MP Gord Johns (Courtenay-Alberni, B.C.) introduced a private member’s bill entitled An Act to enact the Mental Health, Addictions and Substance Use Services Act and to make consequential amendments to the Federal-Provincial Fiscal Arrangements Act. Bill C-280 was introduced and read a first time.

The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs presented its 29th report, Bill C-25, An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act and to enact An Act to change the names of certain electoral districts, 2026.
