The City of Ottawa will create new cycling facilities along Orléans Boulevard and Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard after an investment of over $5.1 million from the federal government. Liberal MP MP Mona Fortier (Ottawa—Vanier—Gloucester, Ont.) joined Stéphane Giguère, CEO of Ottawa Community Housing (OCH), to mark the groundbreaking of 200 Beausoleil, an affordable housing development in Ottawa’s Lowertown neighbourhood and one of the first projects advancing under the Government of Canada’s Build Canada Homes initiative.
