Bill S-7, An Act to amend the Customs Act and the Preclearance Act, 2016, was debated at second reading, was read a second time and was referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce.

Government motion No. 35, that, notwithstanding any provisions of the Rules, previous order or usual practice, the provisions of the order of November 25, 2021, concerning hybrid sittings of the Senate and committees, and other matters, extended on March 31, 2022, have effect until the end of the day on June 30, 2022, was debated.
