Bill C-75, An Act to Amend the Criminal Code, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and other Acts and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, was read a third time with amendment on division. 

Bill C-48, An Act respecting the regulation of vessels that transport crude oil or persistent oil to or from ports or marine installations located along British Columbia’s north coast, was debated at third reading and read a third time with amendment following a recorded division of 51 yeas and 29 nays.

The Senate Standing Committee on Aboriginal Peoples presented its Twenty-first report,  Bill C-91, An Act respecting Indigenous languages, with amendments. 

The Senate will resume sitting on Monday, June 17, 2019, at 6:00 p.m.
