Bill S-219, An Act to deter Iran-sponsored terrorism, incitement to hatred, and human rights violations (Non-Nuclear Sanctions Against Iran Act), was read a second time and following a vote was referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

The Report of the Security Intelligence Review Committee, entitled: Maintaining Momentum, for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2016, pursuant to the Canadian Security Intelligence Service Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-23,s. 53 was tabled.
