Statistics Canada posted data on retail trade, June 2026. Retail sales increased 0.6 per cent to $74.3 billion in June. Sales were up in seven of nine subsectors, led by increases at general merchandise retailers. The full release is available online.

Statistics Canada issued the quarterly civil aviation statistics, third quarter 2025. Operating revenue for the 23 largest Canadian air carriers totalled $9.7 billion in the third quarter of 2025, 0.7 per cent higher compared with the same quarter in 2024. The full release is available online.

Statistics Canada released new files that link the first seven cycles of the Canadian Health Measures Survey (CHMS), conducted from 2007 to 2009 (Cycle 1) through 2022 to 2024 (Cycle 7), with selected administrative databases. These linkage files enable researchers to follow the CHMS participants over time and examine how directly measured health characteristics are associated with health outcomes, including cancer incidence, hospitalization, emergency department use, mental health service use, survival and mortality. The full release is available online.
