The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade presented its Twenty-second Report, Bill S-6, An Act to implement the Convention between Canada and the Republic of Madagascar for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, without amendment but with observations.

The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance presented its Thirty-sixth Report, Second Interim Report on the 2018-19 Main Estimates.

The Standing Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs presented its Twenty-ninth Report, Bill C-76, An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act and other Acts and to make certain consequential amendments, with amendment and observations.

Bill C-344, An Act to amend the Department of Public Works and Government Services Act (community benefit), continued to be debated at second reading.

Bill C-69, An Act to enact the Impact Assessment Act and the Canadian Energy Regulator Act, to amend the Navigation Protection Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, was debated at second reading.
